"Excerpts from Igor Stravinsky's "The Rite Of Spring""
This bit of madness is from a 1980 recording session I did with legendary drummer Allen Herman, who was also the producer. Peter Phillips wrote the arrangement and played keyboards, Don Rebic also played keyboards and Bernard Grobman was the guitarist. I used a hybrid Fender Jazz Bass with DiMarzio pickups I had at that time. The various "vintage" synth sounds were the cutting edge in those days. Famed arranger and orchestrator Ralph Burns even got a kick out of this track. RCA Red Seal Records (yes, "records"!) was mildly interested at the time, but...
